Should There Be A Quest That Requires A 99?

Just taking a quick look at the minimum levels you need to complete every quest, I noticed
something. The highest skill you need is 75 magic, while the lowest being 23 summoning. Now
let's look at the xp needed for 75 in any given skill, it's approximitly 1.2 million xp, if
you've ever gotten a level 99 or a higher level then 75 you would know that 1.2 million xp is
actually not a lot. Granted if you're going for that ever elusive quest cape then you probably
have many more levels then what is needed for a particular quest.

Now let's look at the so called "Grandmaster" quest While Guthix Sleeps. This was supposed to
be the hardest quest to date and would challenge even the toughest players. Yet everyday I see
people under level 100 with a quest cape, I hardly think this is what Jagex meant to have
happen when they released a Grandmaster quest.

So the question is, should Jagex make a quest that requires a 99? I personally think they
should eventually, but when they do it shouldn't be an expensive skill like smithing or
summoning, and it certainly shouldn't be a skill like cooking or fletching. It should be more
of a mid-range skill such as firemaking, or woodcutting. This would make it so it's not so hard
that you would never be able to do the quest but not so easy as so everyone with only 10m+ can
do it.

Justrkomore - A good way to make money is to make strength potions. To do this bring a sharp weapon with you to Varrock sewers. Run through the entire sewer until reaching a web. Slash it open and run south then west until you reach some deadly red spiders. Take their eggs. Now give the eggs and 5gp to the apothecary to make a strength potion. Then sell them to high leveled pkers.
Rouge Menace - Hey Sal, you may remember me from such forums as, YOURS! Anyways I have two money making tips to do with theiving.

1. At 20 theiving, steal silk in ardougne and put them in the bank. Later you can sell them somewhere, like varrock or if you avoid the stall for a bit, Ardougne.

2. At 35 theiving steal fur at the fur stall in Ardougne. Then sell them to that guy in varrock that buys them.

Rahsk - Runecrafting!!!! I make so much money with it. Use the runesellers teleport in Varrock, mine rune ess, teleport out, run to bank, repeat as nesscesary. Eventually when you get good enough you can craft law runes (about 1k for each rune as of Feb. 2005). When your mining runes you can visit other sites since it doesnt stop mining until you hav a full inventory. I love this site!!!!!

U'll attract lots of attention in a busy area. Once u've got their preference e.g. pl8body or chain, med or full helm, pl8 legs or skirt, etc. go down and make it and return 2 sell. U'll make tons and u can do the same with mith,addy, rune,steel and any others. Since u could sell full rune 4 about 200k a set, with 5 customers u can make one mil!!!! Punisher9900 - A gr8 way to make money is to range dragons and sell everything they drop even bones. I fond its best to do it on blue dragons in the Taverley dunjun and the heros guild basement. The bones sell for 3k each and they can drop rune meds i think high alched for 18k and they can drop level 3 clues, steel stuff, herbs ect. You can make alot this way. In Taverley you can hide behinds like mushrooms and the east corner of the heros guild dragon cage is the only place the dragon cant get to.

You just have to do the rune mysteries quest and then keep teleporting to rune ess from Aubury. His shop is really close to bank. It takes about 5 minutes to get 200 ess and you can sell this for 1k!

Sokhal - There is a very easy to make money. The requirements you need to do it is: a dusty key, hallberd [any kind(the faster the better]. Ok, so go to Taverley dungeon past the blue dragons, next to the lava eel spot. There are black demons ahead. Anyways, go attack one with your hal and come to the corner of the wall. Start attacking it, it won't touch, it's too big. Keep on killing them. If you have a ring of wealth, you have a good chance of getting a rune med and a chance of getting a drag med. Well, good luck!

Then go back to falador bank and put the lobsters in bank! Then go back and do the samething if you have 250 raw lobsters go to world 1 and sell them for 200ea! It really works! You can to fish 100 lobbies and sell them! I did it and now I have full rune with 200K in bank!
Cpkv - ok, before i tell u a tip, just wanna sa sup sal. ok, if u have like .35 theiving than steal like,3k silk. than after u got the 3k silk. Go to ferminik and sell them, or wait like a day but be kinda far away from the silk stall and than sel them 60gp each. happy stealing and dont get caught=)
Rach1100 - Okay, this takes a little while but it makes a lot of money. First go to the silk trader in Alkarid and buy all the silk you can. Then go to the clothes store in Varrock and sell them. I made at least 150 gp in 30 minutes.
Lysealot - warning u need combat lvl above 70 to do this and a dragon fire shield! what you do is go into lvl 13 wildy and kill green dragons. This gets your prayer up good if you bury your bones and you get combat up fast! collect the hides and store them in edgeville bank. once u have about 50-100 green dragon hides go on forums and sell them for 2k each! its how i make my money and it really works! the more u do it the easier it gets!

Requirments: at least lvl 16 runecrafting, 1k rune essence.

First mine 1k rune essence then make them air/mind runes. After when you have 2k mind/air runes sell them for about 40gp each. Don't sell them 1 by 1 all at a time. You ill totally get 80k for all of them!

Zarefore - if you've tried most things but cant make money spin flax(found near seers)into bowstrings(spining wheel also near seers) you can sell for 100 gp each! you can get 2.8k worth of bow string in about 5 mins that means 33.6k per hour! hope i helped!
Zip239 - These money making tips are for memebrs only! If you are a member, then the two things you should do, if you are a high enough lvl is to get a ring of wealth, and go fire giant killing. These guys drop dragon med helms, dragon half sheilds, rune arrows, blood runes, and rune scimitars. The second tip is to get 55 magic, then fletch like no tommorow. Soon you can make 200 per when you high alch maple bows, if you get to magic longs then you can get 1550gp per alch!

Alex - a really easy way to make money is to save up to about 50k or a little higher then buy coal 100 each in fallador then sell it for 120-150 each, keep repeating this process untill you can buy more andthe more you sell the more money you get. my freind taught me this hes a lvl 3 and from that he already has 1 mill and a halloween mask!!! obviously it works.
PinkFloydBoy - to make money. get a rune pick first of all. then, mine all the gold u possibly can. craft jewelery. (u need a smithing lvl of at least 40 to smelt gold. and u need to be at least lvl 5 to craft nething gold) sell the jewelery to the general store. even just the rings that u can craft at lvl 5 crafting go for 140 gp each. sell 10 of these, and u'll have 1.4 k easy as that. u'll get even more money for better jewelery
Evil Person 8 - A really great way to make money fast is to go to the Fur Stall in East Ardougne and steal gray wolf fur until you get up to about 100 furs and then go to Varrock and sell them to the fur trader in the middle of the city. At first he'll give you 150 gp for each, and after alot of selling he'll go down to 120 each, which is still a LOT. This will give you about 12K in less than an hour! (You must have at least lvl 34 thieving to steal from fur stalls).
Gonger65 - chop lots and lots of maples till you get at least 1k and the nsell them for 100k. That is how i earn my money fast, and theres good exp. in it too. The average amount of maples i would get per day is probably 500 but i 65 woodcutting so best of luck in earninig your heavy duty cash

Pnkpantha007 - This tip is for people who have completed Doric's quest and can mine and smith mith or addy. Go to dwarven mines and mine coal, and mith or addy. Go to Falador furnace and smith, go to Dorics anvil and make shields. Finally, go to shield shop near Falador north entrance and sell the shields. Optionally, you can go to either of the banks and sell the shields.(you can also bank everything, but it takes longer because you have to constantly return to bank.)
TowerJack - If you would like to make lots of money on top of raising smithing and mining lvls mine 2k coal, 1k iron, and make 1k steel bars. You can now sell these steel bars for 500 gp each which comes out to a whopping 500,000 gps. or you can buy the coal for 150 each, which comes out to 300k and still make 200k plus the experience from smithing it.
- Do you have stuff to sell but can't find a buyer? Well, you have 2 routes available to you.
  
  1. Go to world 1 and try to find a buyer...Its THE Trading world.
  
  2. Go to various forums and find the marketplace. You should have no problem finding a buyer.

Chronos Elf - if you want easy money here is the way to do it, if you have a woodcutting level of 30 or higher go to draynor village and by the little fishing spot there are willows, chop heaps down until you get to about 500 logs, then sell them for 10k. this will get you money and woodcutting exp. it doesn't take long, and when you get to level 60 in WC, cut down yews and sell then for around 100-200 runescape gold each. this is VERY easy, it may take a while, but be patient.Thanks

Yes, it may seem boring and many people quit on the first 30 minutes. Get about 500~1000 (it will take less than 1~2hours). DONT EVERY SELL THEM FOR 10~15 gold pieces!! Go to world 1 and sell em for 30!! I'm serious! Make some serious cash and come off happy! I'll do it again :D Yippeee!
Goddess Lemo - Here is a tip that will get you lota of money. do quest that allows you to mine rune essence. get runecraft to level 14. Keep mining essence until you have 16,200 in bank, then turn them into fir runes in al kharid dessert. Go to Varrock's runeshop and keep on selling 10 at a time for 6gp. when done you should have 97,200gp.(spend wisely) you can repeat process to get even more, but don't sell to much in one rune shop. Try going to sarams port and selling some there, then try other worlds.
Mvp 5 - a good way to make cash is str pots you will need red spider eggs and limp roots and 5gp for each str pot u make and sell them for 1-2k(i made over 100k in 2 days)beware the red spiders are lvl 36 and u need to kill hobgoblins for the limp roots lvl 32
Flameboy2026 - If you ever walk past a general store, ALWAYS check what it has to sell. One time I had a look, and it had 149 mithril daggers for sale, 12 gp each!!! I bought 23 of them, costing me around 400 gp... But then I went to a sword shop, and sold for 137 gp EACH!!! i made an easy 25k... ALL BY CHECKING THE GENERAL STORE!!!
anorectic - A fast way to get runescape money is to sell big bones. sell them for 200 gp each, and you will be richer :)

First, chop 1,000 logs and carve them into arrow shafts. Next, aquire 1,000 steel barz and smith em into arrow heads. This may not sound hard but next you need to get 15k feathers. Once you have all those, you should have everything you need to make 15k steel arrows!!!!!! Sell them for 40 gp or more each and you should end up with about..... 600,000 gp!!!! Do the same with other types of arrows to make a fortune!!!! I traded 20k mithril arrows to a guy and I got full Guthix rune!!! Peace out Sal!!
Gatesentinel - Also, a great way to get money is by setting a reasonable goal of coal to get everyday, and if you keep on mining that much everyday, eventually you will have a lot of coal. (you can do the samething with other ores)
alexcplayer - Theres a awesome way of getting rare items and money!! note:you should be level 45 or above; well anyway, you take 60 coins and go to port sarim, take the trip to karamja and go to the mountains located east, go down and go to the lessers, make sure you bring lots of food, kill lessers and they drop heck alot of stuff, one time i got rune med helm which i sold for 11 k, they also drop gold and runes!!

Sethwenen - Making money, you are going to think its crazy but if you are level 50 instead of mining coal, mine iron, you can get it most of the times instantly, so is faster, you can have up to 3k of iron in one day, and there is always people that buy it at 100gps, If you mine coal you can mine around 1k a day and it sells at 150gps.Then compare, I make 300k a day (with iron), while other people make only 100k a day, this way, in some days you can be buying all trimmed armours you want, all holyday drops, ammys, weapons, and more.
Strongbad - On this site on Sal's moneymaking guide he put something about mining 2000 coal and 1000 iron and smithing it into 200 steel plates and you'll get 196k from high alching them. Well I did this and it worked great. I sold them to horvik and got about half of what you get form high alch but it was still great. I didn't beleive it would be that simple to make money but it was so listen to this site!!!
Whitenitrous - Mine coal lots of coal. But if you are like me (lazy) just try getting 100-200 a day 10 days 200 coal up to 250000gp especially in world 1. other wise it gets extreamly boring.
Runefreak190 - If you want to get good money and have 50 ranged then go to the Taverley dungeon and range or mage hellhounds because they drop good clues. I have got 3 pieces of god armour from them.
Kainui - For all you begginers out there looking for money

Don't mine and sell! Smelt it and make it into amour and weapons! If you only work on mining for money, you'll regret it later and not be able to make your own armour. And you can always sell the finished product when you're done making it.
Strongbad - Never buy the coal if you are mining and smithing, because if you buy and sell stuff your profit still decreases even if you get lot. So if you have 100k and you buy 1k coal and smith and sell the stuff and get 90k then your out 10k even if you did get the experience , you should mine the coal and other ores yourself and you'll get lots more money even if it does take more time.
Sir Konfuzed - hi, if u r a high lvl non member fisherman (fishing lvl 50 ) i would reckomend you to continue to catch lobsters, instead of swordies.

this is because there is a greater demand for lobsters and they sell for 200ea while swordies sell for 300ea but take twice as long to catch
Stonefire66 - the best way to get money by far is to get ur mining levl to 30 and mine coal. keep goin to ur bank wen ur full and wen u hav about 300 go to the centre of varrok and sell 300 for 30-40k!!

Red Kerrin - Ya know how its hard to get money when your not a high level? Well its not anymore. First you can mine iron and lots of it at either dwarf mines or the mines south east of fally. Then when you get to something like 1000 you sell. Its that easy

so far ive made 100k in the last 2 days and im not that high of a level. Try selling stuff in fally east bank. I think that at parts of the day its the best commerce place in runescape.
Fizard - a good way to get up to lvl 60 mining and lots of cash is this.

-mine tin tell your level 20 mining

-then mine iron tell your level 60

-then mine inside the mining guild (almost all coal) mine all the coal you can and sell for 100-200 gp

-i made 300k this way in 3 days
Montymus - Easy money- if you have 32 quest points an easy way to get money is to mine silver ore south east of varrock and sell them to the lady in the champions guild 30gp for 1 silver ore
Luke Serafino - mining is the best way 2 make money. believe me!

One Big Tipper - If you are looking to make a lot of money quick would be to go to Falador and go to where the shortcut to the mines is located, get a decent pick and go mine coal down in the mines once you have filled your inventory you should head back to the bank and deposit them. (don't forget about fatigue) Then repeat wait until you have around 1000 coal in the bank. Then head to Draynor village where you can trade the coal for certs (certificates) then head to Varrock square and sell for around 1k each enjoy the spoils! (spend wisely) :)
Servant of Zamorak - If u want fast money and ur a member get 5 thieving and go to Ardougne. Then steal 1k cakes from the cake stall. I got 170k in like a day and u can snag choc slices too. Pk'ers buy the cakes about 100-150 each

Maple Story items shown on hidden street?

Some Maple Story items dont say how they are obtained or what MapleStory monsters drop it. so how are we supposed to obtain these items??? like some chairs, they show the description but its
not dropped by any monster or is not available anywhere.
Keep in mind Hidden-Street is often wrong, considering many guides or pieces of information are very old.
You also got to note that HS doesn't tell if if the item comes from Gachapon or not. So most likely, the items that has no "dropped from" info, comes from Gachapon.
Or haven't come out on GMS yet...or even are out, but no one has yet figured out how to obtain them and told HS so they could update the database? we'll Gms does have the data for the item's but it's not officially out yet.
You'll find pirate and timeless weapons there, but you can't obtain them yet.you can even owl or mts search for them. you actually can. just type "?" and a whole bunch of untranslated weapons(named "??? ?? ?" usually, lol) will come up in MTS/owl.

Starting Out
Level 1-10
GMS: Maple Island: Just kill all the monsters and finish quests if you feel like it for the extra EXP, not like you are doing anything.
KMS: Maple Island: Finish every single quest available. Not only will it bring you up to level 10 in about 15 minutes, but you will get tons of potions as well.

Level 10-15
GMS: Victoria Island: Just go to either Tree that Grew 1 or Slime Tree, great EXP.
KMS: Victoria Island: Just go to either Tree that Grew 1 or Slime Tree, great EXP. You could also try Floating Market, but that place is crap after 14.

Level 15-20
GMS: Victoria Island: Yup still here. Continue grinding on Slimes till 18 or 19. Orange Mushrooms are bad because your damage is all over the place, so Slimes are the next best
thing. Just go to Orange Mushrooms around level 18/19 then level till 20 there.
KMS: Victoria Island/Ariant: Same with GMS, except you could go to Ariant if you followed the Accuracy build and train on the Sand Rabbits if you have money to drain.

Level 20-25
GMS: Victoria Island: Now you're high enough to go to Green/Horny mushrooms. Just pick a tree in the "Forest South of Ellinia". Good EXP, you should also try making a party. This
would speed things up.
KMS: Ariant: You can to Sand Bunnies if you weren't following the Accuracy build now. Your accuracy is perfect to hit them 100% of the time, and you should be hitting 150's to
260's each Straight.
For Accuracy builder's, go to Meekrats, the ones that look like Timone from the Lion King.

Level 25-30
GMS: Victoria Island: Go to Sleepywood and start fighting at Ant Tunnel. Your Accuracy should be perfect to hit the monsters at least 90% of the time, so the EXP is great,
especially with Somersault Kick mobbing.
KMS: Ariant/Victoria Island: Accuracy and other builds can move to Cactus' now, especially daddies. The spawns are great so Somersault Kick is really helpful here as well.
Otherwise, go to Ant Tunnel.

Job Advancement!
Go back to Kairin and select the first quest she wants, it's the Infighter test. Now, click her again, choose the bottom option(Not the other quest) and just click yes until she
teleports you to a map.
Now, you need to kill these Octopi till they give you 15 Crystals in total. After you're done, talk to Kairin and she will take you out. Finish the quest and you will be promoted
to Infighter!
Congratulations!

Good training partner for ice/lightning wizard

Okay, so I quit a while back, however I was recently trying to find a game to get into again, with my girlfriend. I figured Maplestory, while I may not find it the greatest game in the world, it seemed to be a good choice. I know the basics of the game, and a lot of other things. Many things have changed since I've been gone, but it's generally the same.

So I explained to her all the jobs, and what they do, what they're for, etc. She has her heart set on being an ice/lightning wizard. Okay, right. I searched for a while, on here and with google. What would synergize well with an ice/lightning mage? Well the first thing I thought of was a White Knight. (After all, mages get a skill the makes enemies weak to a certain element, right? I forget the skill name, but ice mages get a skill that makes monster weak to fire, correct?) Anyhow, yeah, that helps me.. so that's one way they synergize. Another is in second job, the ice wizard would freeze the enemies so I can attack them without getting hurt. That's not as much of a problem in third job as I have an ice element I can put on my weapon.

Then I thought about a cleric. Well, we can always find places to train where there's undead, and she has meditate, which helps me. I can give bless, which is okay.. more avoid and stuff like that. I can heal, which is good.. Although usually a wizard would have magic guard on, so it wouldn't help much, yes? Of course in third job, holy symbol and such. So in the end, I suppose it's a pretty good combo.

So I was wondering if I could get some more suggestions, and also if you could tell me if mine are any good! I'm open for all jobs, and I don't have a preference of my own. I just want a class that synergizes well with hers. Thanks for the help.

Many Player Moderators Not Suited For The Job in Runescape

Recently I have been seeing many Player Moderators in Runescape not acting as they are supposed to. Sometimes some new player asks a pmod a question (I know pmods aren't obligated to answer every question) and the pmod either says "noob", ignores the player, or responds using incorrect grammar (u instead of you and ect).

I have also been seeing way too many pmods using incorrect grammar, that (in my opinion) is a bad example of a pmod! Player Moderators are supposed to set a good example for the rest of the players. To me, it is pretty sad seeing a player moderator who can't spell (I don't mean one error in a whole sentence, the whole sentence being filled with grammar errors).

Sometimes while walking around I get asked some questions by Pmods (it doesn't happen like everyday but sometimes it happens). The questions vary - they can be a very stupid question about RS or can be a question about RS1 (like "Were Partyhats tradeable at first?"). Player Moderators are supposed to know almost everything (not to the last detail but very well general. Also don't take the Partyhat as an example. I know RS1 was very long ago and not many people from RS1 still play).

Also, I have seen some Pmods being pretty offensive to others (I know they're humans and have their limits but if they were smart enough to get Player Moderator status, they should be smart enough to [1] mute the player if he/she is being too offensive or [2] ignore the player and go on). I have witness pmods calling people (mostly newbies) things like "loser", "idiot", "imbecile", "noob" and many more names.

The great majority of the Pmods I'm describing were players who, almost, the only thing they did was report players for the simplest (and lamest) reasons (or for autoing ). Jagex gave them Pmod status assuming they were fit but as we might be seeing.. they are not.

This is one example of not-well-suited pmod

I'm NOT saying all Pmods are like this. There are Pmods who are very well suited for the status they hold.

So whats your opinion on this issue?

New "Seven Swords" reward of Lotro?

Just wondering if anyone managed to catch the new "Seven Swords" quest before it got pulled.

As part of the Angmar changes, the sword quests were changed from the old, fellowship-needed 7 swords to just killing 7 named (normal) angmarim scattered in a fairly small part of Angmar, followed by a small-fellowship instance to finish the quest chain off.

I didn't bother doing it until after the patch, by which point the final quest had been pulled because it was bugged (small fellowship quest but you could only enter it solo).

However I was reading on the Turbine forums that one of the selectable rewards from the new version is a pocket item with +14 Might, +14 Vit, +14 Agi, +1%parry. Sounds decent, was wondering if anyone had seen the quest/completed the quest before it got switched off by the patch to confirm this?

Also in pocket items, the Aughaire Challenge quest series has one that's worth considering for raiding: -1.5% melee vun, +13 vit, +might (only a little but there's a clicky for +15might for 10mins every 30 as well), +79 morale. Since you don't really need massive evades in PvE raids it might be worth having it for the extra vit/moral.

I got bored: Damage parsing of Lotro

In the Lord of the rings online, decided that since some very kind people have developed time stamping and log parsing tools for the combat logs, I'd actually go through some of my weapons collection and see which really does "do the most damage".
I was just collecting the data for personal interest but decided to post it up here anyway, might be of interest to some of you.
Tested on a ~30 minute circuit from Gath Forthnir to large hillman village and back killing mobs on the way of middle world in Lotro.
Mob levels 47-51, types are bat (swarm), spider (normal), human (normal, sig and elite), morroval (normal).
"5 second DPS" consists of stealth approach from behind with AIM+LIE (when available), then Surprise Strike, Counter-defense, Burglar's Advantage. I *could* have used the full crit-chain as the basis for "Burst" DPS, but I found that normal mobs were usually dead by the time I'd done "Flashing Blades" with the mace/mace and mace/sword combo - that's ~2.2K dmg in 10-12 seconds. So I decided to go by the first 5 seconds of the fight instead.
Reveal Weakness (non-traited) was used on all mobs, as was (non-traited) Counter-Defence.
Seperate logs were made for each weapon combination so I could run them straight through the lotrometer without further editing.
Reason I chose this area/route was the variety of mobs to test on. When I've finished my various weapon combos on this route I'll be doing the same thing in other areas with different mob types (orcs/goblins/trolls/wargs/worms)

Nexon just released New Leaf City in their most recent patch, and here I am to give you some tips on where to get things, where the hard, easy, and in between monsters are. Most importantly, how to get the Amorian Relaxer!
Tip #1. Boomers= BIG EXP
You need:
1. A F/P Mage with Poison Mist
2. Nobody around that will ks you
At the Boomer map have the F/P Mage use Poison Mist until the Boomers multiply into the thousands... then mob then all for at least 56K EXP!!!! Well, if you are in the thousands and none kses you of course.

Tip #2. Godly drops
In MesoGears, which resides within Bigger Ben, there is a monster that drops ilbis and Blue Screamers. What monster is it? The Wolf Spider. Although a lvl 80 monster, for the higher lvls this is paradise for both training and drops... may be the answer to all high lvls' prayers.

Tip #3. Easy money for everyone... maybe?
For the 1st John Barricade quest you must kill 50 Killa Bees, 40 Fire Tusks, and 30 Mighty Maple Eaters. All should be fairly easy. For completing the quest you get some exp, +2 Fame, and... AND A 60% GLOVE ATTK SCROLL. You may be crying with joy at getting what should be an easy 6 mil... but it isn't. Due to everyone completing the quest the scroll's price has dropped to 1 mil at best... oh well. However, WGs (Work Gloves) are now in high demand so make a couple and sell them for 50-100k each!

Tip #4. THE AMORIAN RELAXER!!!
Ok, this is very hard to get. Considering if you are under lvl 70 it is impossible for you to get it. Here's what you gotta do. First, complete ALL of New Leaf City's quests. I am on my first charactor and on starting (in ignorance as to what the game was about) I chose to be a farmer ....... however I would like to change this to a more dynamic hobby

It depends on how you want to play the game, I think.

If you have just one character, you can get through the levels more quickly and into the other areas like evendim, Rivendell & Angmar more quickly. The downside is that you only see one type of race and character.

If you play more than one, you get the chance to try out a different race or class. In the eralier levels, you get to see different areas, depending on which race you choose - ered Luin, the Shire, Breeland etc. The downside to that is that you don't get through the levels so quickly.

Different people will tell you to do different things. I find it hard to stick with just one character, even though I think I should do, because I like the variety - But that's just my preference

There are 4 jobs in the Maple Story. And each job have some different evolution. There are Warrior, Magician, Bowman and thief.
We all know that at lvl 10, Warrior, Bowman and thief will have the first advancement (Magician is lvl 8). And there are another 3 times advancement in the future. What is the cool line of these Job advancements. Here are some advices.

Warrior= recommended for those who dont mind having to get up close and personal with their enemies
Magician= recommended for those who dont mind having to heal their mp every once in a while.
Bowman= recommended for those who dont care about wasting money on arrows.
Thief= for those people who want a mix of a bowman and a warrior! (stars for the bowman part and every other weapon for the warrior part.)

Then the 2nd job
Warrior
Fighter= Fast weapons, but weak
Spearman= Strong weapons, but slow
Page= Ehhh.... if your looking for the sword part just go for a fighter
Magician
Ice/Lightning= if you want ice or lightning attacks (my mage, magecrazyman, will become this)
Fire/ Poison= if you want fire or poison attacks
Cleric= Good for holy attacks and healing
Bowman
Crossbowman= If you want to use crossbows
Hunter= If you want to use bows
Thief
Assassin= good for stars
Bandit= good for everything else

My 2 main characters are my mage, magecrazyman (Windia) and my warrior, tinycrazyman (Broa) Obviously i play MapleGlobal

3. Do not buy NX cash. It is 99.99% possibility that it's a scam, not to mention it's against the Terms of Service

4. If you're really paranoid of scams, and is afraid of selling your items, just get a shop, bought with NX cash, from the Cash Shop

In fact, if you don’t care about the little benefit in the game. Just play the game, make friends. You know that, in the Maple Story, players can’t PK. WOW!

Here is another tip.
Ok, this tells you how to take a cash shop item and put in a different server to another character. Example, If you play in Bera and also have a character in Scania. you can transfer the item from the guy in bera, to the guy in scania. First, wait until any cash shop item expires from your guy in bera, then unequip any cash shop item that you want to transfer, so it shows it in your inventory. (but don't enter the cash shop in bera or it wont work!) Then Go to the character in scania and enter the cash shop, it will tell you the item that in Bera expired, and all your cash shop items that weren't equipped with the guy in Bera will appear in the Cash shop in Scania! this trick also works with pets.

Basics: we are RANGED but when soloing we spend 50% of the fight at melee thats why Turbine improved the melee skills.

Use Swift Arrow as an opener and all the usal stuff but learn to use the melee skills. Check the blindside skill: adds with no induction 3 focus (that will let you use penetrating shot soon after) and check the other skills (like swift stroke) for a +8% parry chance. At level 50 this is more than 20% parry chance...
Learn to combine the new skills to deliver more DPS in less time by avoiding induction times. If you are waiting for a cooldown use some of the melee skills that are ready to go since they deal more damage now and provide som bonuses.

Whoa, talk about putting your passion for the game (and for gold?) and your Net savvy together! This new maptool, courtesy of a European fansite, is a useful resource and aide for players.

I start to attack some goblins in lumbrige. Larry told me that slash could increase strength XP fast. So kill goblins by stab, lunge, slash and block, so my attach xp, strength xp and defence xp increate relevant. Then I know use which attach method to increase my strength xp.
Second I start to fishing in the Draynor Village northwest of Lumbrige. And then I fish in lumbrige when my fishing level comes 20.

I level up some skills Woodcutting, fire making, cooking and fish. Aha, finally I could fish salmon, cook and eat it.
My account with combat lvl 43, attach 39, strength 37, defence 38. And my fishing is 30, cooking 31, fire making 13.

But Jagex banned my account without any reasonable cause today. I never used my account trade, buy gold. And I only have 20k gold coins in my bank account. LOL!

I am a newbie for the mmo game Runescape. But I like it so much.
My combat lvl is just 21. I had played the game for 3 days.
I am 35 years old. My son always plays this game and he told me it is very cool. So I join it.
At first, I finished the newbie quest. Then I was moved to Lumbridge when I was lvl 3. I began to practise my life skill and combat lvl.
I attack some goblins. First I don’t know the differences of chop, slash,lunge and block. I just used Slash and my strength XP grew very fast. But the attack and defence didn’t get any xp. Then my son told me I need use other actions to get the other xps. Well, lots of goblins were killed at my sword. That’s a cool feeling.
I also do some life skill. Like Fishing, Cooking, Firemaking and WoodCutting. Well, It is really a new world for me. I will go to varrock and play there.
Runescape is really a great life for us.I like it. And I think I will continue to play with my son.

Despite categorical denials, rumours amongst the blogging community are suggesting that it’s only a matter of time before RuneScape reaches seventh generation gaming consoles such as Wii, Xbox360 and PlayStation 3.

For the less initiated, RuneScape is a Java-based game which has taken the internet by storm with millions of players interacting with each other online. It takes place in the fantasy-themed realm of Gielinor where players travel between different kingdoms either on foot or via teleportation.

You can engage monsters and even fellow players in combat but you must also trade, communicate and cooperate to complete mini challenges. How very civilised.

A recent study at Brunel University has suggested that playing RuneScape can be beneficial in teaching teenagers to work hard to achieve goals. Call me old fashioned, but I think my paper round did more for me than any virtual sword fight.

So the word on the street (albeit a virtual street) is that RuneScape will soon be invading living rooms all over the globe. To be honest it all looks a bit like virtual Dungeons and Dragons to me but more than five million people each month can’t be wrong. Can they?

Magic is a very speical skill in RuneScape, allowing you to cast spells using magical Runes imbued with special powers. You can do so many things with this skill, from teleporting to cities instantly, changing a stack of bones into tasty bananas, or even sending a fiery missile towards your opponent!

The Special Staffs always are the player's favorite for the their special attribute.

Runescape Magic Staffs

Staffs can be a Wizard's best friend during battles (and for walking long distances!). There are 3 main kinds of Staffs: Elemental Staffs, Battle Staffs, and Mystic Staffs. There are also special Staffs that you can obtain from monsters or other quests.

Before explaining those kinds of staffs, there is some info that you should know. First, there are 2 basic staffs: Staffs and Magic Staffs. Staffs are just like a regular carved stick, and they add no bonuses to your stats. Magic Staffs add a slight amount of Magic Attack & Defense, but they have no special abilities.

All Staffs will allow you to continually use an attack spell on your enemy until it dies, or you run out of Runes. To use this option, go into your Fighting Style menu while you are wielding your staff. Near the top on the right side you'll see a spell button; click it to select your choice of several elemental attack spells, ranging from low to high. You'll now attack with that spell, rather than with a melee attack.

Elemental Staffs include Air, Water, Earth and Fire. They can be bought at Zaff's Staff Shop in the northwest part of Varrock for 1,500gp each, and they will be equal to an infinite number of that type of Rune when the staff is wielded. So, if you use a lot of one type of Rune, it would be wise to buy that kind of staff. Each of these add 10 to both your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

Battle Staffs are much like regular Elemental Staffs, but they have a Charged Orb attached to them. Battle Staffs are much stronger than regular staffs, and they will still allow you to use an unlimited number of Runes of that type. The Orb can be Crafted with glass, and then you need to cast the appropriate Charge spell on its Obelisk to power it up. Then just attach the Orb to the Staff to get a Battle Staff.

Mystic Staffs are actually just enchanted Battle Staffs. They are much stronger than normal staffs (comparable to a Rune Longsword), and still take the place of a Rune. To get a Battle Staff enchanted into a Mystic Staff, you first need to complete the Scorpion Catcher Quest. Thormac the Wizard, located south of the Seers Village, will enchant your staff for 40,000gp.

Special Staffs can be obtained from a quest or a monster.

Staff of Iban - Received after completing the Underground Pass Quest. This allows you to use the Iban Blast spell when equipped. Adds 10 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

God Staffs - These include the Staff of Saradomin, Zamorak and Guthix, and you can choose one after defeating Kolodion in the Mage Arena. When wielded, you have the ability to use their specific God spell: Saradomin Strike, Flames of Zamorak, or Claws of Guthix. They also add 6 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

Lava Staff - This staff is a rare drop from the Kalphite Queen, and it will give you an unlimited amount of Fire and Earth Runes.

Mud Battlestaff - This staff is a rare drop from the Dagganoth Kings on Waterbirth Island, and it will give you an unlimited supply of Earth and Water Runes.

Slayer Staff - Bought from any Slayer Master. Used to cast Magic Dart to kill specific Slayer Monsters. Provides 12 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

Ancient Staff - Can be bought from Elbis for 80,000gp after completing the Desert Treasure Quest. Provides 15 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

Ahrim's Staff - Part of Ahrim the Blighted's set. Requires 70 Defense and Magic to use. Provides 15 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonuses.

Obsidian Staff (Toktz-mej-tel) - You can buy this using TokKul from the Fight Pit equipment shop for 52,500 TokKul.

Lunar Staff - Can be bought from the Oneiromancer after completing the Lunar Diplomacy Quest. Allows for autocasting attack spells, and it has better magic attack than regular Elemental staffs (+13 Magic Attack), as well as a +3 Prayer bonus.

Void Knight Mace - This weapon can auto-cast Claws of Guthix, and can be bought from Pest Control for 250 Pest Points.

Wands are another type of Mage weapon, which you can buy from the Mage Training Arena using Pizazz Points. These are particularly useful, as they give decent Magic Attack and Defense bonuses, and you can autocast regular spells with them.

One particular note about wands, is that you must own them in order before being able to move onto the next one. for instance, you can't use a higher-up wand before using a Beginner Wand.

Here are the Wands in order:

Beginner Wand - Adds 5 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonus. Requires level 45 Magic.

Apprentice Wand - Adds 10 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonus. Requires level 50 Magic.

Teacher Wand - Adds 15 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonus. Requires level 55 Magic.

Master Wand - Adds 20 to your Magic Attack and Defense bonus. Requires level 60 Magic.

Runescape - A fun enjoyable game but the only problem is the fun lasts for about 2 days.

Censors - Ah the censors, the most annoying part of the game. The censors may cut down on bad language in the game but the also make communicating alot harder since for some reason they think that ordinary words are also bad. Quests - well atleast members can do quests to get some fun. The good thing is that you can get long quests and short quests take "one small favour" for example, now from seeing the name you would think it would be a small quest, but no it actually turns out to be 1 of the longest quests in the game. Well now that you have finished the endless quests and all that gameplay you want to relax so you go to the forums. Now that you are in the forums you may find that saying anything bad (not insulting) about jagex will get you temporarily banned with a warning "but i read the forum rules and it didnt say that anything i said was wrong" you say to them trying to plead to be able to go on the forums again and the answer you will most likely it will be either them pretending they are too busy to answer your message just now or that you were doing something or other that you shouldnt have(even if you didnt do anything wrong). Well its back to the game after the wrongful ban from the forums so you decide to start mining to gain some lvls. Sometimes you may get the odd arsehole trying to scam you and sometimes they are even members, but atleast you can do the good thing and report them, but what jagex dont tell you is that members have less of a chance of getting banned if a free world person reports them.

So now that you know that jagex is always changing the rules and not living up to their promises(houses) you probably dont want to play anymore, but suddenly another update comes and oh joy its about member payment by phone which is how you pay!(for some). You are overjoyed when you see that the phone pay is now a whole pound cheaper, but wait it says that its now only ¿5 which is strange because when you last payed by phone it was ¿5 then(this happened to me).Well it seems that Runescapes not the game we all thought it was so you have been lied to, banned(wrongfully), insulted, ignored(by customer support) and learnt that some1 has hurt themselves because of losing stuff in Runescape (said about on a thread), but dont worry because jagex managed to delete that thread so no1 would find out and now you are probably going to leave and i dont blame you one bit. So thats my review of the crappest and stupidest game ive ever played.

Anywhere else is classed as a single combat area. Multicombat areas are especially dangerous in the Wilderness, as more than one player can attack you at one time. tdm told me that: If you are a member you can do 2 things. You may collect seeds and herbs they always sell for a lot. or if you are not a member mine iron until you reach 40 mining then mine coal. The way i made money when i was low level and now i have 15 mil so it does work. if you have high woodcut just cut yews or mage logs

Bradley : One way is by fletching. It doesnt take that long to cut a whole bunch of logs and turn them into shafts. You can get 10k shafts in about an hour if ya try. Just kill chickens after that and get their feathers. And as for the mining things above, if your level isn't really that high, just keep mining iron and make iron arrows. Its good mining/smithing/fletching experience plus the experience you get from woodcutting. Then you can sell the arrows at around 25-40. Most people buy for about 30-35. This doesn't take that long, its fun and trains 4 skills

After the creation of the Barbarian Assault minigame, the Baxtorian Barbarians have been investigating several of the local features in the hopes of finding a new challenge for their hairy brethren... and they have not been disappointed. Lying deep beneath the surface they have found the resting place of an old, nearly forgotten, yet strangely familiar foe... the mithril dragon.

Following on from selling manuals, there are a number of other items which can be purchased from vendors and sold for a profit in the AH. The manuals are nice because you can purchase unlimited quantities, but sooner or later somebody else has the same idea and competition drives prices down.

Some recipes can be vendor purchased but only in limited quantities. vendors will have only one or two of a particular recipe. As you travel to new zones, check each vendor for these limited items - most recipes can be sold for a profit.

These are some examples:

Pattern: Enchanter's Cowl - buy for 10 silver sells for 1 to 1.5 gold.

Pattern: Icy Cloak - buy for 15 silver, sell for 1 gold.

Recipe: Superior Mana Potion - buy for 1.2 gold, sell for 3 to 4 gold.

Plans: Mithril Scale Bracers - buy for 60 silver, sell for 1.5 gold.

There are many more recipes, all with similar profits. Far too many to list here. I honestly don't recommend traveling specifically to pick up recipes. As often as not, somebody will already have bought out the item. It is, however, definitely worth checking vendors as you pass and buying recipes for later sale.

Big claims but does the guide live up to its promises?

I figured it was worth the money to check it out since the author is offering a refund if it isn't up to spec.

The first thing that you notice is that the guide is relatively short at 81 pages due to the absence of any

fluff. He gets right down to a number of different methods of making
href="http://www.wowgolds.us/">WoW gold straight off the bat.

One of the other guides I bought, which shall remain nameless, was almost nothing but fluff. It went into

great detail about how to sell in the AH and how green items were worth more then grey. Duh. Anyway, I

digress. The Cash Creating Guide is different. It's all substance and no fluff. It isn't for absolute

beginners certainly but if you have an idea how to sell in the AH and know your way around the zones you may

be ready for this guide.

I pride myself on knowing most ways to make WoW

gold but I have to say there were some great ideas in there that I hadn't discovered. I'm not

going to share them in this blog since the author has obviously put a lot of work into the guide and it

wouldn't be fair to steal his ideas. There a whole mix of techniques for almost any level. It includes a bit

of everything including trading, timing, crafting, hunting, gathering etc.

It's a bit difficult to say how good the guide is without revealing all his secrets but it works and works

well. I've tried only a few techniques in the guide, and there are many, and I've already made several hundred

gold almost effortlessly.

The drawback is that it does cost real money, in this case $37. Worth it? I think so. If you are short of gold

you can either make it of buy it. Buying a decent amount of gold will cost you more than the price of the

guide and when you've spent it, it's gone. With this guide you can make more gold whenever you need it.

Go up to Ellinia located in a deep forest east of Victoria Island, and go to the very top of the town.Inside you'll find the chief of the town, Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and he'll judge your worth as a possible magician. If you are at least in Level 8 with INT of 20 or over, you'll advance as a Magician.

From Grendel the Really Old at the Magic Library , you'll receive a Level 1 Skill Book called "Introduction to Magic".

[ST Interesting]Ahhh... an introduction to the extraordinary class of Thieves, Assassins, and Hermits. Well, what can I say, this is my favorite class in the game. Why? I mean, cmon, you get to be a ninja who jumps around tossing hoards of awesome-looking throwing stars everwhere. What's there not to like? At level 80, you even get to become a Pirate!
We're that cool... Though I suppose Bandits get the same clothes, but where's their throwing stars? At another point, they have the most annoying sounding attack in game... Savage Blow. *Shudder*. Well, this is just my opinion, suit yourself if you happen to like hearing annoying sounds that happen 6 times in rapid succession, over, and over, and over again; that's your business.
So, back to Assassins. We're a fun class, really, and if you've got the proper funding, we can be strong as hell too, potentially the strongest second class in game if you play your cards right. On top of that, we're insanely fast, you have no clue how fun jumping around with maxed Haste is. Well, at least it's fun if you compare it to not having Haste.

Game UI/Control ITEM INVENTORY The Item Inventory Window displays all the items held by the your character. Your items are classified in the Item Inventory Window in five tabs: equipment, use, set-up, etc and pet. Items held in storage are not displayed in the Item Inventory Window. Place the cursor over an item to see the item's requirements and attributes in detail. Your total meso is displayed at the bottom of the screen. The "use" items can be placed in the HotKey's for quick access and use. The HotKey: ( I ) At the bottom right of the game screen, there are shortcut icons of Item Inventory, Equipment Inventory, Character Stats, and Skill Inventory. EQUIPMENT INVENTORY The Equipment Inventory Window displays all the items that are equipped by the your character. You can only put on a single item per equipment slot. Place the cursor over an item to see the detailed descriptions of each equipment item. The HotKey: (E) At the bottom right of the game screen, there are shortcut icons of Item Inventory, Equipment Inventory, Character Stats, and Skill Inventory.
