[Maple Story Jobs] Magician

They may not have much of attacking abilities, but they can handle awesome, spectacular magic at will.
Studying ancient studies is their virtue, so high intelligence is a top priority. Since they spend all their time researching, they may not have much of strength or stamina, and they use staffs and wands as their main weapons. For armor, they prefer light ones like robes with minimal defense. They can't put on heavy armor.

The job order for the magicians reveal a 3-way job route.
In order to advance as one of these jobs, various requirements need to be fulfilled. You should take time deciding what kind of a magician you want to become down the road before committing to a route.

TO ADVANCE
Go up to Ellinia located in a deep forest east of Victoria Island, and go to the very top of the town.Inside you'll find the chief of the town, Grendel the Really Old. Talk to him and he'll judge your worth as a possible magician. If you are at least in Level 8 with INT of 20 or over, you'll advance as a Magician.
THE SKILLS OF A MAGICIAN
From Grendel the Really Old at the Magic Library , you'll receive a Level 1 Skill Book called "Introduction to Magic".
Open the skill menu and you'll see the list of skills you can learn, and with the SP available for you to invest in skills you'd like to master.
You'll receive 3 SP for every level up, and some of the skills require you to master other skills first. The book has basic skills of a magician that specializes in magic and defense , and the skills available in "Introduction to Magic" are as follows.

The Basic of a Magician

Improving MP Recovery
Master Level 16
With this, you'll recover even more MP every 10 sec.

Improving Max MP Increase
Master Level 10
While having a Level UP, if AP is used on Max MP, it raises the level of increase for Max MP

Magic Guard
Master Level 20
Temporarily replaces damage with MP instead of HP. If MP reaches 0, the HP takes a full hit.

Magic Armor
Master Level 20
Temporarily boosts the weapon defense by blowing magic into the armor.

Energy Bolt
Master Level 20
Use MP to attack one enemy.

Magic Claw
Master Level 20
Use Mp to attack an enemy twice.

They usually use swords, axes, blunt weapons, spears, and pole arms. Some, like Dark Knights, also uses spells in their attacks.

TO ADVANCE
Head over to Perion located north of Victoria Island on Pontos Plateau, and you'll find the Shrine of Warriors at the very top of the town. Inside you'll find the chief of the town, Dances with Balrog.Talk to him, and he'll judge your worth as a potential warrior. If you are at least Level 10 with STR of 35 or over, you'll advance as a Swordman.

THE SKILLS OF A WARRIOR
From Dances with Balrog, you'll receive a Level 1 skill book called "The Basics of a Warrior." Open the skill menu and you'll see the list of skills you can learn, along with the Skill Points available for you to assign to skills you want to master. You'll receive 3 SP for every level up, and some of the skills require you to master other skills first. The book has basic skills of a warrior that specializes in increasing strength and stamina, and the skills available in "The Basics of a Warrior" are as follows.

[Maple Story Jobs] Beginner

In the world of MapleStory, you'll be able to choose a job that most interest you.

Beginner in MapleStory
They may not have a job yet, but if they train hard for the treacherous journey that lie ahead they'll one day be able to choose one of the four paths that will be available to them.
They don't have any special skills yet, but basic yet crucial skills such as walking, jumping, sitting, climbing up the ladder, and etc. are there to be mastered.
Once the beginner reaches level 8 ~ 10, the person can choose to become either a warrior, magician, bowman, or a thief.
The requirements and the places for the job advancement differ from one another, and you can also make job advancements in the game.
On some, you may have to meet certain requirements or complete quests to do so.

1ST JOB ADVANCEMENT
The places and requirements are listed below, and for the proceeding advancements, you'll be able to obtain the information from the towns in charge of them.Every job advancement comes with a Skill Book, which lists out skills that are crucial to your adventure. Your job is to master those skills and make the character totally yours in the process.
